Melbourne Business School Business Case

__________

The Melbourne Business School appointed Hassell in 2017 to investigate development options for their new facility in Carlton, Victoria. Former Hassell (now Baukultur) Principal Mariano De Duonni approached the study as both a commercial and urban design problem rather than an architectural design. By not designing ‘architecture’, the site potential was unlocked and strategic moves put in place that enabled another design team to proceed with the development application.
